Description
I had gone to PG to visit my husband while he was working, so I had a bit of time to waste until he was done for the day. I decided to go to one of the parks and walk around. I had a new to me, prime lens and I really wanted to test it out. I had met this other photographer, we started talking, and she asked if I would be interested in following her around to some other locations. I felt some good vibes, so I texted my husband, letting him know my plans and off we went. She showed me to some really nice areas, one of which, was a field where she has seen some Long-billed Curlews. They just happened to be out in that field, so we started taking photos, I was so excited to see them, as this was a first for me to come across. I am forever grateful to have met this person and get the opportunity to visit some local spots. It's amazing what going through some photos from a couple years ago can really jog your memory and bring it all back as if it just happened.
